She was predeceased by: her parents, Aniceto Alvarado and Natalia Alvarado; her siblings, Tony Alvarado (late Soledad), Uriel Alvarado (late Esther), Juanita Olivarez (late Ramon) and Carol Oropeza (late Frank); and also Anaya.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Franco, Lilia Guerrero, Maryellen Sendejas (Felix), Rose Mary Guerrero and Linda Rodriguez; and her siblings, Raul Alvarado (late Ernestine) and Robert Alvarado (late Betty).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mercy Home for Boy and Girls.
