She was predeceased by: her husband Luster McKiddy; her children, Linda Joyce McKiddy, Tommy McKiddy and Stevie Brooks; and her siblings, Beulah Greer, Aileen Smith and Coolige Brooks.

She is survived by: her children, Doug McKiddy (Teresa), Janice McKiddy (Ricardo Avila) and Rebecca Bachan (Nick).

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Black Oak Baptist Church (6502 W 25th Ave, Gary, IN 46408). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
