He is survived by: his daughter Payton McCarthy; his grandson Lincoln; his parents, John C. Arvin and Pelinda R. Arvin; his siblings, Christine R. Arvin, John E. Arvin and Jessie L. Arvin; and his nephew Troy J. Kemper.
