It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Bowden Sr. (Gary, Indiana), who passed away on January 15, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sons, Orice Bowden, James Harmon and Jessie M. Bowden. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Bowden, Sherryle "Chanel" Woods (Francis), Pamela Jordan, LaShern Bowden, Cassandra Dukes West (Maurice), Monique Guice (Rufus) and Clarence Bowden Jr (Brenda); his sisters, Daisy Nichols (Tony) of Jackson, MS., Dorothy Bowden of Jackson, MS., Bernice Shelby of Jackson, MS. and Florine Bowden of Jackson, MS.; and his nephew James Bowden (Janice) of Merrillville, IN.. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, business associates and friends.
