It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Wirtz (Gary, Indiana), who passed away on April 29, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Wirtz and Therese Wirtz; and his brother Thomas. He is survived by: his siblings, Monica Eriks (Keith), Eileen Sweet (Thomas), Ruth Scheeringa (Melvin), Judy Wright (Dennis) and Matt Wirtz (Nicole); and his friends, Ronnie Gilbert and Paul Porter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
