She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Tanner and Gross Warwick; and her sisters, Mildred Swain (James), Annie Ruth Hudson (Oscar) and Rosie Mae Threat.
She is survived by: her spouse Richardson; her son Darrell D. Tanner of Denver, Colorado; her granddaughters, Britney Tanner and Breana Stampley of Denver, Colorado; and her stepson Dr. Melvin Richardson of Gary, Indiana. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Mrs. Richardson's honor to St. Timothy Community Church 1600 West 25th Ave. Gary, Indiana 46404.
