She is survived by: her son Andre D. Mitchell of Gary, IN; her sister Lillie Marie McElwee of Mc Comb, MS; and her grandchildren, Nokomis Mitchell, Jr. of Gary, IN, Tiera Hicks of Gary, IN, Samantha Mitchell of Gary, IN and Joseph Mitchell of Gary, IN. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
