She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Elsey and Sarah Mahalia Elsey (Harold Best); her daughter Dorothy Barr (Don); her siblings, Alvin, Roy, Cecil, John Elsey and Chloe Hale; and her children-in-law, Calvin Ashley, John Batchelor and Judy Best.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur Best, Bob Best (Janet), Alvin Best, Mary Ashley and Donna Batchelor. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 80 great-great grandchildren and 2 great great great grandchildren along with other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center (8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
