She was predeceased by: her husband William Henry Whitfield; and her siblings, Otha Stewart, Thelma Nash, Mable Stewart, Catherine Stewart, Cleol Riley, Ophelia Stewart, Eva Mae Stewart, Mildred Lewis and Norah Stewart Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Vernard Whitfield, Criss Brewer, Anthony Whitfield, Thomas Whitfield, Daniel Hamp and Tyrone Campbell; and her siblings, Sam Stewart, Emma Stewart and Robert Cotton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews family and friends.
