With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amelia Lara of Gary, Indiana, who passed away on August 16, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberto Dorado and Rita Dorado; her husband Sacramento Lara; and her son Patrick. She is survived by: her children, Augustine Lara (Linda), Maximino Lara, Federico Lara, Yolanda Chabes, Leticia Villarreal, Laura Delgado, Raymond and Diana Jimenez; and her sister Lucia Uvalle (Greg). She is also survived by twenty-three loving grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren, and many loving relatives and friends.
