He is survived by: his wife Clara; his son Earl of Gary, IN; his stepson Jimmy Johnson (Crystal) of Chicago, IL; his daughters, Dameta Dow of Pittsburgh, PA, Carolyn of Gary, IN, Barbara of Kalamazoo, MI and Roslyn of Gary, Indiana; and his sisters, Martha Dean of Greenwood, MS and Olivia Dean (Willie) of Davenport, IA. He is also survived by 14 nieces, 1 nephew; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and a host of great great nieces and nephews and friends.
