It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michele R. Pankop of Garrett, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her stepfather Gordon E. Willms, Jr.; and her former husband Jerry W. Hilbish. She is survived by: her parents, Robert G. Boxell of Angola and Mary C. Laisure of Wall Lake, Orland; her husband Larry Dean Pankop of Garrett; her children, Cory Fisher (Emily) of Fort Wayne, Shanna Maughler (Seth) of Hudson and Trist Wooster (Spencer) of Huntertown; her stepsons, Heath Pankop (Heather) of Corunna and Zane Pankop of Corunna; and her sister Tammy Cattron of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by three grandsons; a step granddaughter.
Preferred memorials are to Helmer United Methodist Church.
