She was predeceased by: her son Michael Kappel; her parents, Cleo Beeber and Hilda Beeber (Miller); and her siblings, Joseph Beeber and Naomi Beeber.

She is survived by: her husband Thomas Kappel of Garrett; her daughters, Monica Berry (Warren), Melinda Stump (Brad), Deanna DeKonick (Mark), Susan Shipe (James A.), Theresa Kappel (Michael Voegerl) and Denise Andrews (William); and her siblings, Thomas Beeber (June) of Adams Lake and Mary Ruth Beeber of Auburn. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Saint Martin's Health Care Clinic.
