He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward P. Babcock and Clara I. Babcock (Cook); his sister Barbara Dearinger; his nephews, Tony Edgerley and Steve Flick; his parents-in-law, Edgar "Punch" and Dorothy Osborn; his siblings-in-law, Gary Edgerley, J. D. Dearinger, Jim Fore, Jerry Flick and Janet Osborn; and his great-nephew Dustin Campbell.
He is survived by: his daughter Jill Babcock of Galveston; his sisters-in-law, Beverly Fore and Barbara Flick; and his nieces and nephews, Gary "Craig" Edgerley (Sandy), Julie Greenwood (Glenn), Shari Scalf, Stacy Surber (Darren), Jeff Fore (Michele), Kristi Morgan, Scott Flick (Joyce), Kim Colburn (Gary) and Karisa Nahodil (Victor).
Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of donor's choice.
