He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Lee and Mary Jane Core (Hays). He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Core of Galveston; his children, Sherri Core of Indianapolis, R. J. Core, Brylea Branch and Alex Branch; his grandchildren, Izabell, Kyron, Jackson and Colton; his brothers, Phillip L. Core, Mark L. Core, David G. Core and Daniel S. Core; and his brothers-in-law, Jeff Jones (Beth) of Walton and Randy Jones (Carrie) of Texas.
