He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Fewell and Mable (Ennis); his siblings, Eva Maxine (Fewell) and Lawrence Fewell; and his son George Frederick Fewell.

He is survived by: his wife Wanita (Pence); his children, Robert (Julie), David (Dawn) and Joanna (Fewell); his husband Jeff Pier; his grandchildren, Frederick Fewell (Brittany), Noah Pier (Stephanie), Jeremy Fewell (Kelsey), Adam Pier, Zachariah Fewell, Micah Pier, Joshua Fewell and Olivia Pier; and also Houston.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to Bennett Switch Community Church building fund.
