She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Scott and Pauline Scott (Baird); and her husband Billy D. Garbert. She is survived by: her daughter Billie Garbert of Galveston; her stepdaughter Lori Salmons (Steve) of Logansport; her grandson Gunnar Nelson; her sisters-in-law, Joan Scott and Dee Ann Fiedler; her nieces, Debbie Rumple of Kokomo and Paula Pitner of Kokomo; and her grandchildren, Stevens, Barb Thomas, Naomi Sutherland, Kenny Scott, Sonny Scott and Donny Scott. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Lewis Cass Band, FFA, or the Galveston Vol.
