Gretta J. Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gretta J. Smith of Galveston, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ernest and Bertha May Rioth (Weaver); her husband Donald C Smith; her son Jeffery D Smith; and her sisters, Mildred Ellerbrook (Ted), Maxine Rioth, Kathleen Farris (Burl), Alma Ulerick (Gerold) and Martha Becker (Robert).
She is survived by: her children, Debra L Beheler (Edward) of Kokomo and Steven R Smith (Lauri) of Tipton; her grandchildren, Edward Beheler (Julie), Brandon Smith (Cambria), Amber Kelly (Sean), Clinton Smith (Katherine) and Andrew Smith; her great grandchildren, Anna (Adam Chesak), Lance and Trip Beheler; her grandchildren, Lorraine, Owen Weaver, June, Aila Smith, Ezra Kelly, Sawyer and Magnolia Smith; and also Violet.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Faith Church (515 S Maple St, Galveston, IN 46932). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
