He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis G. Cowen and Edna L. Cowen (Whetstone); his sister Bonnie; his brother-in-law Rodger Sherk; and his niece Beth.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Schaadt; his daughters, Lyn Ocken (Jay) and Sara Weiderhaft (Gary); his grandchildren, Jarrett (Shianna Bradley), Justine, Jhett Ocken, Ava and Connor Weiderhaft; and his brother Rodger Cowen.
