She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Taylor and Pearl Taylor (Munsell); her sister Jeanette Taylor; her stepdaughter Linda Teel; and her nephew Will Dilts.

She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Slater; her daughter Concetta "Connie" Denny; her stepdaughter Brenda Slater; her grandchildren, Amber Pugh and Austin Denny; her great grandchildren, Russell Pugh, Randy Pugh, Waylon Denny and Everett Denny; her stepgrandchildren, Shyann Teel and Taylor Teel; and her siblings, Alan Wayne Taylor (Cynthia), Les Taylor, Brenda Banter, Jenny Dilts (Will) and Rita Layton.

Visitors are recommended to wear face masks and keep social distancing while at visitation in accordance to state COVID-19 guidelines.
