He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald T. Miller and Lela B. Miller (French); his wife Norma Jane Glassburn; his sister Beverly Jean Biddle; his granddaughter Misty Kelley; his nephew Scott Bond; and his great-nephew Bret Lear.
He is survived by: his children, Rick of Abilene, Kirk (Kay) of Justin, Deb of Nyona, Kim (Dan Smith) of Nyona and Chris (Russell Bradley) of Nyona. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
