She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Waninger and Frances Waninger (Kleiser); her husband Zeno Gogel; her granddaughters, Katie Marie Gogel and Cecelia Gogel; her brothers, Edgar, Alvin, Dennis and Frank Waninger; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Waninger, Ray Peters and Dennis Witte.
She is survived by: her children, Bernadette Linne (Donald) of Troy, Marilyn Hagedorn (Joseph) of Tell City, Joann Klem (Ralph) of St. Meinrad, Bernice Spurr of Lamar, Linda Gogel of Ferdinand, Francis Gogel (Sharon) of Huntingburg, Don Gogel (Sharon) of Huntingburg, Alfred Gogel of Bristow, Gerald Jerry' Gogel (Glenda) of Tell City, Michael Gogel (Mary Sue) of Dale, Dan Gogel of St. Meinrad, Larry Gogel of St. Meinrad, Paul Gogel (Lana) of St. Meinrad and Dean Gogel (Sandy) of Georgetown; and her siblings, Anna Mae Peters of Fulda, Agnes Witte of Ferdinand, Clarence Waninger (Betty) of Ferdinand, Norman Waninger of Huntingburg and Robert Waninger (Diane) of Lamar. She is also survived by 37 grandchildren and 68 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church (15519 IN-545, St Meinrad, IN 47577).
