He is survived by: his sons, Willard K. Sample (Melody) of Paragon, Douglas L. Sample of Newberry, IN and Larry D. Sample of Martinsville; his siblings, Charles L. Sample of Martinsville, Darrell R. Sample (Linda) of Monrovia, Ronald M. Sample of Gosport, Brent E. (Teresa), Douglas A. Sample (Cathy) of Paragon, Gary Sample (Connie) of Paragon and Peggy McDaniel (Bruce) of Gosport; and his grandchildren, Rachel Boyd (Eric), Matthew Sample (Hannah), Lacey Sample, Aleesha Little (Andy), Dean Sample (Shelby), Autumn Badger (Seth), Leanna Rogers (Brandon), Bonnie Lopossa (Stanley), Kadence, Zoe and Jackson Sample. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
