He was predeceased by: his parents, Oral Carnes, Sr. and Belva Marie Carnes (Hammond); his wife Alma Louise Flick; his grandson Christopher A. Carnes; and his siblings, Bill, Bob, Jack, Richard and Violet Condra.
He is survived by: his son Ronnie Carnes (Judy) of French Lick; and his grandsons, Ronald Carnes, Jr. (Linda) of French Lick and Paul Carnes (Glenda) of Columbus, Indiana..
