It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lena Mae Hughes of French Lick, Indiana, born in Huntingburg, Indiana, who passed away on October 13, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Volley Feltner and Hilda Feltner (Gramelspacher); her husband Wayne Hughes; and her son Jason Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Michael Hughes (Rena) of French Lick and Angie Matthews (Jason) of Birdseye; her siblings, Larry Feltner (Kathy) of St. Anthony and Elaine Hemmer of Huntingburg; and her grandchildren, Caleb, Maddy, Jacob, Luke Hughes and Jenna Matthews. She is also survived by Many Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the CrossPoint Fellowship Church (5681 US-231, Jasper, IN 47546). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at the Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
