It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Maxine Meade of French Lick, Indiana, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilber Myers and Georgia Myers (Hagemier); her former spouse Gale L. Wilson; her husband Rev. Weldon Meade; her sisters, Janice Nonte, Mildred Cassidy and Bonnie Ragan; and her son-in-law John Aylsworth.

She is survived by: her children, Phillip L. Wilson (Debbie) of Alfordsville, Kevin L. Wilson (Darlena) of New Albany and Patti Gail Aylsworth of French Lick; her stepchildren, Michael Meade (Christine) of Ohio, Marilyn Jenkins of Ohio and Julie Meade of Ohio; and her grandchildren, Heidi Aylsworth Taylor (L. T.), Luke Aylsworth (Laura), Lacy Aylsworth Flynn (John), Trent Wilson (Jennifer), Christina Wilson Heisler (Quin), Michael Wilson (Kathryn), Bethany Wilson Heimbach, Abigail Wilson Westerfield (Ethan), Carmen Rutherford (Howard) and Maria Icenogle (Jason Jacobs).

Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home (9640 IN-56, French Lick, IN 47432). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Ames Chapel Cemetery (5368 US-150, Paoli, IN 47454).
