She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Waigand and Katherine Marotte Waigand; her spouse Gleason Straley; and her siblings, Edward C. Waigand, Ellinor Depper, Lillian Gillaspie and Louise Russell.
She is survived by: her stepson Richard Straley of Beaver Creek, OH; and her caregivers, Susan Lagenour of Dubois and Paula Lagenour of Dubois. She is also survived by 3 step-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McAdams Mortuary (500 SW 1st St, Paoli, IN 47454). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Smith Cemetery (120 Sulfur Dr, Clay City, IL 62824).
