He was predeceased by: his parents, Everret Wayne Glendening and Hilda L. Glendening Carper (Shears); and his sister Dorothy L. Glendening Blech. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Helton (Eddie) of Morristown, Tennessee and Scott Glendening (Carla) of Fremont; his grandchildren, Amanda Helton, Caroline Helton, Kelsey Glendening Smoker and Khloe Glendening; his great grandchildren, Audriana Raines, Aries Woodard and Owen Smoker; and his brother Ebon R. Carper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
