It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Amburgey of Fremont, Indiana, born in Angola, Indiana, who passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard J. Sr. Stafford and Genevieve M. Stafford (Otis); her brother Bruce Stafford; and her nieces, Marcie Nartker and Crystal Nicholson.
She is survived by: her husband Phillip R. Amburgey Sr. of Fremont, Indiana; her children, Michael Stafford of Hudson, Phillip Amburgey Jr. (Samantha Baker) of Garrett, Indiana and Kathy Jo Amburgey (Robert Miller) of Angola, Indiana; her grandchildren, Jordan Jackson, Abbygayl Amburgey, Avery Amburgey and McKenna Amburgey; and her siblings, Leonard Stafford Jr. (Adele) of Ohio, Laura Steele (Rory) of Tennessee, Bill Stafford of Indiana and Brenda Hoyt (Steve) of Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Phillip Amburgey.
