Mary Ruth Watson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ruth Watson of Freetown, Indiana, born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Bowers and Margie Bowers (White); and her siblings, Annie Carson and Lee Bowers. She is survived by: her close friend Mike Waggoner of Brownstown; her children, Jennifer Nicholson (Tom) of Vallonia and Jerry Zirkel, Jr. of Seymour; her grandchild Jesse Nicholson; and her siblings, Otis Bowers, Jr., Roy Bowers and Gail Weber.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (2005 S Main St, Vallonia, IN 47281). A graveside service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Vallonia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
