It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Estelle Winston of Freetown, Indiana, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Davidson and Opal Davidson (Soladine); and her husband Richard S. Winston. She is survived by: her children, Richard S. Winston, III (Mildred) of Gilbert, Tracy L. Winston (Lora) of Brownstown, Robin Lee Lovelace (Dan) of Plainfield and Abrena Winston of Gilbert, Arizona; her grandchildren, Crystal Yockey (Steve), Jeffrey Lovelace (Sara), Tiea Dancler (Anthony), Terra Winston, Lauren Winston-McPherson (Melissa Robles), Gabrielle Winston-McPherson, Brittany Winston, Elijah Winston, Richard Winston, IV (Savannah) and Carlie Winston; and her brother Ron Lee Davidson (Donna) of Coatesville. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Spurgeon Funeral Home (206 E Commerce St, Brownstown, IN 47220). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
