She was predeceased by: her parents, Winfred Cornett and Mary Maxine Cornett (Phillips); her stepmother Kathleen Scott Cornett; and her brother Ronald Cornett (Saundra Cornett). She is survived by: her husband Clifton "Tony" Mowdy, Jr. of Freetown; her children, Steven Mowdy (Ashley) of Columbus, Indiana and Kristin Anderson of Freetown; her grandchildren, Destiny, Zoey, Isaiah, Cora Mowdy, Gavin, Tucker, Madison, Sophia Gourley, Arlene, Ariel Peters, James "Bub" Anderson, Jr. and Aaron Broughton; her stepmother Norma Harbaugh Cornett; and her niece Robin Perry (David) of Freetown.
The family requests memorial donations be directed to the Pershing Township Volunteer Fire Department.
