He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Eli Shelton and Mary Elizabeth Fleenor Shelton; and his siblings, Samuel, John, Waldo, James Howard, Grover Shelton, Martha Jane Abner, Myrtle Coghill, Mary Wolter, Helen Marie McFarlin and Mildred Hurley.
He is survived by: his brother Joseph Eli Shelton of Seymour.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Freetown Church of Christ.
