She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles William and Hazel Irene Scott Anderson; her son Ronald "Fran" Pearson; her granddaughter Destiny Alderson; her brothers, Charles Anderson and Johnny Anderson; and her siblings-in-law, Judith Anderson, Nyla Anderson and Lyle Ault.
She is survived by: her spouse Byron Gene Gilliam; her children, Douglas Scott Pearson of Columbus, Tammy Pearson (Georgia) of Freetown and Tanya McDonald of Seymour; her siblings, Terry Anderson of Freetown, Donna Fritz (Russell) of Freetown, Marilyn Ault of Seymour and Elaine Francis (J. D.) of Freetown; her grandchildren, Chasity Muns, Whitnea Miller, Haley Pennington (Ryan), April Rose, William McDonald, Nicole Kell (William), Ronny Pearson, Ezra Engle, Courtney Rose, Ronald Pearson, Isiaah Engle and Jayron Pearson; her great grandchildren, Jayli Muns, Jasmine Muns, Jocelyn Muns, Nash Pennington, Raeli Pennington, Braelin Kell and Baby Engelking; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Anderson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc. will be practicing social distancing according to CDC guidelines.
Memorials may be given to Freetown Church of Christ or Don and Dana Myers Cancer Center.
