It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy F. Scott of Freetown, Indiana, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Scott and Amy C. Cornett Scott; his son Douglas A. Scott; and his sister Bonnie Scott. He is survived by: his wife Carole D. Baughman; his sons, William Dwayne Scott of Brownstown, Kendall R. Scott (Nancy) of Columbus and Brian T. Scott (Tamala White) of Medora; his brother Clayton L. "Pug" Scott (Velma) of Freetown; his grandchildren, Kirstie Pumphrey, Brittany Kinworthy (Devin), Christopher Scott (Bailey), Lauren Wetterau, Sarah Williams and Brian Scott; and his great grandchildren, Charley Pumphrey, Riley Pumphrey, Briar Pumphrey, Jack Kinworthy, Harper Scott, Keilen Hardy, Kennedy Williams, Mylee Francis and Zoey Scott.
Memorials may be given to Freetown Church of Christ.
