He is survived by: his wife Anna Lee (Howell); his children, William V. "Billy" Dowling, Joseph Marcinkus, Amy Knox (Craig) and Julie Scott; his grandchildren, Courtney Dowling, Brendan Dowling, Ethan Dowling, Scott Tackitt, Amber Tackitt, Katelyn Tackitt and Logan Thorpe; and his great grandchild Sylas Tackitt.
