It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melissa Thomas (Freedom, Indiana), born in Greencastle, Indiana, who passed away on April 23, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Fredrick Summers and Irma Lucille Summers (Elmore). She is survived by: her husband Larry D. Thomas; her children, Ryan (Elizabeth Apo) and Renee (John Denmark); her grandchildren, Kaila Apo, Ariel Morgan, Isabele Apo, Jacob Apo, Cora Jane Apo, Chloe Osmon, Jack Osmon and Leah Osmon; her great grandchildren, Kalani Apo, Brenick Morgan and Kahliel Flowers; and her siblings, Steve Summers, Kathy (Russ Fleehearty), Aleta Schaus, Tim Summers and Shannon (Julie Summers). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Pleasant Hill Community Church.
