He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Abrell and Grace Loraine Abrell (Fulk); his son Eric Abrell; his grandson Gage Abrell; his brother Clint Abrell; and his sister-in-law Louise Abrell.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Zenor Abrell; his children, Cleve Abrell (Lori), Lee Ann Deckard (Tracy), Lisa Vaughn (David), Adam Abrell (Cassie), Lora Evans (Rodney) and Lexie Reszka (Jason); his grandchildren, Eli Deckard, Levi Deckard, Amber Page, Logan Vaughn, Landon Vaughn, Autumn Blankenship, Carter Abrell, Carson Abrell, Eden Slaughter, Laine Clark, Ethan Abrell, Corbin Abrell, Holden Abrell, Addison Farmer, Arie Evans, Emery Reszka and Anah Reszka; and his daughter-in-law Kathi Abrell. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Owen County Fair Association or the Freedom United Methodist Church through the funeral home.
