He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald E. Tompkins and Nelda E. Wogerman; and his siblings, Edward Russell and Lajuana Russell. He is survived by: his wife Jeanie; his grandchildren, Aiden, Brody and Payton; his siblings, Sharon Shreffler (Rick) of Anderson, William "Butch" Tompkins (Paulette) of Anderson, Joseph Tompkins (Kim) of Anderson, Elaine Carol George (Ralph) of Anderson, Cheryl "Rusty" Barkdull (Joe) of Yorktown, Mark Tompkins of Anderson and Greg Tompkins (Donna) of Anderson; and his uncle William Billy Butler (Kay). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
