It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James McCorkle of Frankton, Indiana, born in Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on August 26, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McCorkle and Kathleen McCorkle (Willshire); his wife Judith McCorkle; and his brother Steve McCorkle. He is survived by: his children, James "Brian" McCorkle (Carrie) of Summitville, Jason McCorkle (Carrie) of Frankton and Tara McCorkle of Florida; his grandchildren, Trevor, Tyler, Christopher, Benji, Trace, Trenton and Michael McCorkle; and his half-brother Seth McCorkle (Marsha) of Elwood.

Local guidelines for health and safety will be observed including social distancing and face coverings at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Frankton American Legion through the funeral home.
