He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard B. Sowers Sr. and Nondas Leora Basey (Beeman); his sister Roselyn Basey; his nephew Tom Basey Jr.; and his niece Robin Basey.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Sowers (Lott); his sons, Michael Sowers (Lisa) and Christopher Sowers (Krissy); his grandchildren, Andrew Sowers (Rachael), Brandon Sowers (Kelaney), Natalie Sowers, Joseph Farmer and Haleigh Farmer (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Chance, Emma Rose, Jaxxen and Bentley; his daughter Heidi Olkinuora; his brother Tom Basey (Joyce); and his siblings-in-law, Donald Lott (Robin) and Linda Gehrke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions face coverings, and social distancing are required at the funeral home and the capacity is 50 persons at a time in the funeral home.
