He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Partlow and Nellie Partlow (Gooding); his siblings, Carl W. Partlow of Florida, David, Norma Partlow of Anderson and Bob Ballard of Frankton; his parents-in-law, Roy and Ida Hendrick; his brother-in-law Tom Hendrick; his brother Richard; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Rainer and Kay Hendrick.

He is survived by: his wife Katheryn Hendrick; his children, Monica Partlow of Anderson, IN, Douglas Partlow (Kristine) of Hamilton, OH, Bill Partlow (Julie) of Elwood, IN, Rodney Partlow (Kelly) of Frankton, IN and Shane Partlow of Frankton, IN; his siblings-in-law, Wayne Hendrick, Jeannie Hendrick and Mary Lee Partlow; and his pet Piper. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.
