With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon E. Mathauer (Franklin, Indiana), who passed away on February 16, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert (Edna Hofmann) and Sharon; her husband David Mathauer; her son Christopher Mathauer; and her siblings, Robert, Jack, Richard Hofmann and Shirly Blevins.
She is survived by: her daughter Paige Johnson (Ross); her grandchildren, Erika Johnson and Nicholas Johnson (Cassie); her great grandchildren, Addyson and Cason; and her brother James Hofmann.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (114 Lancelot Dr, Franklin, IN 46131). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (435 W Troy Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225).
