He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd L. Bright and Susan M. Sims; his brother Boyd L. Bright Jr.; his brother-in-law Robert Shirley (Bobby); and his mother-in-law Vicky Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Bright of Franklin; his children, Kay Houp of Indianapolis, Richard "AJ" Bright Jr. (Cheyanne) of Brooklyn, Morgan Scruggs of Indianapolis, Shawn Bright (Lauren) of Franklin and Dakota Bright (Alex) of Franklin; his sister Jamie Fultz (Raymond) of Manchester, KY.; and his sister-in-law Brittnie Pitcock of Franklin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Indiana Memorial Cremation & Funeral Care (3039 W Co Rd 300 S, Versailles, IN 47042). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Indiana Memorial - Trafalgar (3039 W 300 S, Trafalgar, IN 46181).
