He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Bruce Hattabaugh and Anita Louise Banta Hattabaugh; his wives, Mary Josephine Milhon Lawson and Bettie Loeffel Lawson; his daughter Elizabeth Anne Lawson; and his nephew Douglas Ray Carman.
He is survived by: his daughter Alicia Michelle Lawson Pendleton; his sister Patricia Lee Hattabaugh Carmen; his nephew Andrew Carman; his niece Amy Carman Wiley; his stepdaughter Michelle Loeffel; and his grandchildren, Victoria, Zachary Mackey and Xavier Pendleton.
