He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Black and Juanita M. Black; his brother Dave; and his grandson Jacob Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his daughters, Jennifer Roberts (Ed) of Nineveh, Indiana and Tricia Sharp (Robert) of Morgantown, Indiana; his granddaughters, Sydney Roberts, Lauren and Savana Sharp; and his brother-in-law Mark Smith (Lynn) of Franklin, Indiana..
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Franklin American Legion Post 205 (1200 Park Ave, Franklin, IN 46131). The military honors was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the same location.
