He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis William Jones and Caroline M. Jones of Franklin, Indiana.. He is survived by: his wife Mira Jones of Eatonton, GA; his son Clayton Jones (Beth) of Tega Cay; his grandson Carter Lane Jones; his stepson Nicholas Beltz (Calvin) of Cape Coral; his brothers, Jay I. Jones (Nancy) of Franklin Indiana and Bruce A. Jones (Trish) of Franklin; his nieces, Gretchen Wood and Carey Elizabeth Wettlaufer; his nephew Jay I. Jones II; and his great-nephews, Evan Wood, Spencer Wood, Logan Wettlaufer and Landon Wettlaufer.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home (2898 N Morton St, Franklin, IN 46131). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Abbey Hospice in Eatonton, GA.
