It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Wayne Wells of Franklin, Indiana, born in Keokee, Virginia, who passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Wells and Myrtle Wells (Farley); his stepson Troy Eugene Hartley; and his siblings, Kyle Wells, Johnse Wells, John D. Wells, Jimmy Wells, Edith Flanary, Joyce Glenn, JoAnn Dragoo, Julie Day and Janet Colburn.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Jean Wells (Reynolds) of Franklin, IN; his children, Jeff Wells (Barbie) of Indianapolis, Cyndy Wells of Martinsville, Belinda Johnson (C.) of Martinsville and Kathrina Settle of Morgantown; and his siblings, Joel Wells of Martinsville, Jerry Wells of Morgantown, Hazel McKinney of Virginia, June Coffey of Indianapolis and Nancy Kelso of Morgantown. He is also survived by four grandchildren; 1 step grandchild; several great grandchildren; one step great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center (110 E Poston Rd, Martinsville, IN 46151). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 3:30 PM at the New South Park Cemetery (139 E Poston Rd, Martinsville, IN 46151).
