He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ruth Cassel, Mary Cassel, Esther Cassel, David Cassel and James Cassel.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jo Cassel (Kivett) of Franklin, IN; his sister Bertha Cassel of Lancaster, PA; his sons, Eric Cassel of Arlington, VA and Scott Cassel (Lilly) of Evansville, IN; his grandchildren, Luke Cassel (Gabbie) and Sophia Cassel; his great grandchild Roman Scott Cassel; his former wife Elva Jean Cassel; his nephew David Cassel; and his sister-in-law Sharon Cassel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (1300 E Adams Dr, Franklin, IN 46131).
