He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Zehr (Bauer) and Clarence Zehr; and his siblings, Robert, Calvin, Floyd, Kenny, Evelyn Vonderschmidt and Edna Vonderschmidt.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Eric Zehr, Samantha Pearson, Ross Syphers, Camryn Zehr and Alexis Zehr; and his great grandchildren, Zehr Pearson, Khloe Pearson and Gavin Baker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center (300 S Morton St, Franklin, IN 46131). The military honors was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
